Principle
Solvent dyes dissolve completely in organic solvents and polymers at molecular level, providing transparent coloration without light scattering for crystal-clear effects.
Chemical Properties
Complete solubility in polymers with high transparency and brilliance. Good heat stability (250-280°C) and excellent migration resistance.
Manufacturing Process
Produced through azo coupling or anthraquinone synthesis, with strict purity control to ensure complete solubility and color consistency.
Application Methods
Dosage: 0.01-0.5%. Best results when dissolved in small amount of plasticizer before mixing. Ideal for PC, PMMA, PS, and transparent PET applications.
