Transparent Yellow E3G (Solvent Yellow 114) is a quinoline solvent dye affording a bright greenish yellow with high purity and a melting point of 264°C. It exhibits excellent light fastness and heat resistance up to 300 degrees in service, so it can be used for coloring engineering plastics and spin dyeing. The dye gives clean transparent greens in PS, ABS, PC, PET and PMMA and partners with Solvent Blue and Red dyes to build greens, ambers and gold shades with strong fastness.

Usage Instructions

Dose 0.05-0.4% for transparent yellows and greens. The dye is stable to 300°C, comfortably covering PC, PET and PA processing. For spin dyeing, confirm even dispersion before extrusion. Blend with Solvent Green 28 for greener tones or with reds for amber shades.
