Transparent Yellow 2G (Solvent Yellow 21) is a quinoline solvent dye with a reddish yellow shade and heat resistance of 180°C. It exhibits good light fastness, shows high color strength and excellent compatibility with Nylon, and is therefore recommended for coloring carpet nylon fibers. It also colors PS, ABS, PC and PMMA transparent shades economically, and its strong tinctorial yield keeps formulation cost low in fiber and plastics compounding.

Usage Instructions

Dose 0.05-0.5% for transparent reddish yellows in plastics; 0.1-1.0% in carpet nylon depending on depth. Stable to 180°C, matching PS and ABS processing and nylon dyeing windows. Add before extrusion or dissolve in the dyeing bath. High strength means accurate weighing to keep batches consistent.
